Francesco Esposito was born in 1978 in Sassari (Italy). He graduated in Computer Engineering at the University of Pavia in 2005, under the supervision of Prof. Giorgio Buttazzo. From 2006 to 2008 he had a work experience in TLC and Transportation sectors as software developer and functional analyst.
In 2008 in entered the ReTiS Lab (Real Time Systems Laboratory) where he got his Ph.D. in Embedded Systems in January 2012. Retis Lab is part of TeCIP, the Institute of Communication, Information and Perception Technologies of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa. His Ph.D. thesis focuses on power management of real-time systems under communication constraints. Other research interests concern real time scheduling and robotics.
